Cookie Policy
1. About This Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Velocity, Inc. ("the Company," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on veiocity.com. It supplements our Privacy Policy. This policy covers only the veiocity.com website. The Velocity publisher SDK, which operates inside publishers' AI chat applications, does not place cookies on the browsers of those publishers' end users.
2. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow us to recognize your device, store preferences, and measure site usage. We also use related technologies such as local storage. On veiocity.com, we use a minimal set of cookies appropriate for a publisher and advertiser-facing platform site.
3. How We Use Cookies
| Category | Examples | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Session token, CSRF protection, cookie-banner dismissal state | Session to 12 months |
| Preferences | Language, UI theme selection | Up to 12 months |
| Analytics | Anonymized page-view and session analytics; no cross-site tracking | Up to 13 months |
| Marketing | Not currently used on veiocity.com | None |
4. Notice and Choice
By continuing to use veiocity.com, you acknowledge our use of cookies as described above. You can opt out of analytics cookies through the cookie notice banner displayed on your first visit, or by configuring your browser. Strictly necessary cookies are required for the site to function and cannot be opted out of while using the Service.
5. Universal Opt-Out Signals
Where applicable state law requires (for example, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, and Oregon), we honor browser-transmitted opt-out signals such as the Global Privacy Control ("GPC") for sale and targeted-advertising categories. Because we do not use marketing cookies and do not sell personal information, GPC detection on veiocity.com suppresses analytics initialization as a conservative measure.
6. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies on veiocity.com may be set by service providers acting on our behalf, such as analytics providers. We have data processing agreements with such providers that limit their use of data to providing the contracted analytics service. We do not permit third-party advertising cookies on veiocity.com.
7. Managing Cookies
- Use the cookie notice banner on this site to acknowledge or opt out of analytics cookies.
- You can reopen your cookie preferences at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer.
- Browser settings allow you to block or delete cookies at any time; see aboutcookies.org for instructions by browser type.
- Blocking strictly necessary cookies will impair site functionality, including publisher account sign-in.
8. Changes and Contact
We may update this policy when our cookie practices change. The "Last updated" date above will reflect any material update.
